Rack thermal
Inlet and outlet readings at top, middle and bottom reveal local hot spots.

ASTREON / TEJ / ENGINEERED SYSTEM CONCEPT
ASTREON ServerGuard
Environmental intelligence for server rooms, data halls and critical IT spaces. Combine industrial sensing, local alarms and a reviewable response workflow.
01 / SENSING COVERAGE
The 48-rack layout is a reference design. Quantities, zones and thresholds follow a survey of your racks, cooling and infrastructure.
Inlet and outlet readings at top, middle and bottom reveal local hot spots.
Track moisture conditions and the margin to condensation.
Observe aisle containment, obstructions and differential pressure.
Zone detection around raised floors, pipe routes and cooling equipment.
Compare supply, return and room response to investigate degradation.
Monitor approved fire-panel and VESDA interfaces while certified safety systems remain independent.
02 / EDGE-FIRST ARCHITECTURE
Monitoring, alarms, display and history are designed to continue during internet failure. Cloud access is optional and outbound-only.
4–20 mA, RTD, supervised contacts and Modbus. BACnet/IP, SNMPv3 and MQTT/TLS are integration options.
Reference architecture: fanless edge controller, watchdog, industrial SSD, TPM and UPS-backed 24 VDC.
Local HMI, beacon, NOC and configured BMS/DCIM integration. Remote notifications use approved gateways.
Record signal quality, acknowledgements, authorized actions and recovery evidence.
03 / OPERATIONS
Check freshness, quality, persistence, hysteresis and rate of change.
Route severity and context to the beacon, NOC or approved notification gateway.
Show the zone, observed value, supporting evidence and recommended response.
Record acknowledgement, approved action and recovery in the alarm history.

04 / RIGHT-SIZED SCOPE
Core
Focused environmental visibility and local alarms.
Pro
Expanded sensing, escalation and integrations.
Enterprise
Multi-zone reference design with redundancy options.
Campus
Coordinated visibility across rooms and buildings.
Concept deployment scales, not off-the-shelf packages. Final configuration and pricing follow the site survey.
05 / ASSISTED INTELLIGENCE
Optional AI can help identify emerging hot spots, cooling degradation, sensor drift and unusual correlations, with evidence for operator review.
AI cannot suppress critical alarms. HVAC actions require authorization and commissioned interlocks. Fire, suppression, emergency shutdown and power isolation remain outside ServerGuard control.
ServerGuard is a system concept requiring site-specific engineering, commissioning and failure-scenario testing. Reference standards describe design alignment, not certification.
TEJ / INSTRUMENT SELECTION
Temperature and pressure catalogue families provide selection references. Room monitoring ranges, sensor types, quantities and interfaces are specified separately after the survey; catalogue family limits are not ServerGuard performance specifications.
01 / PROCESS SENSING

Select compact transmitters, process instruments or local gauges for pumps, compressors and hydraulic systems. Match the measuring span, overload capacity, wetted materials and connection to the medium. Confirm the total error at operating temperature.
Indicative industry selection data, not guaranteed ASTREON model ratings. Confirm the final range, accuracy and configuration against the selected manufacturer datasheet.

Choose connection-head, cable, hygienic or thermocouple assemblies for machinery and process lines. Match the element, immersion length and sheath to the service. Thermowells and transmitters are selected separately to suit installation and control requirements.
Indicative industry selection data, not guaranteed ASTREON model ratings. Confirm the final range, accuracy and configuration against the selected manufacturer datasheet.
ServerGuard remains an engineered system concept. Instrument compatibility and all control interfaces require application review.
