TerraMetric Bulk Inventory Intelligence
TerraMetric combines ASTREON LiDAR and RGB cameras to measure loose bulk by 3D volume and track visible pallets, drums, coils, bundles and crates by unit count and storage occupancy.
01 / OVERVIEW
TerraMetric combines ASTREON LiDAR and RGB cameras to measure loose bulk by 3D volume and track visible pallets, drums, coils, bundles and crates by unit count and storage occupancy.

02 / CAPABILITIES
Every capability is scoped against real site conditions, approved inputs and the operator workflow.
Use fixed or portable LiDAR and RGB cameras to capture configured material and storage zones.
Build a traceable 3D model of a stockpile, bay, container or defined storage area.
Calculate pile volume and storage utilization within the validated operating envelope.
Estimate mass only when approved density data is supplied and clearly label it as an estimate.
Count separable pallets, drums, coils, bundles and crates when camera coverage and visibility are validated.
Review measurements, visible counts, scan history, variance, capacity and reports.
03 / WORKFLOW
Technology remains reviewable, measurable and aligned with the process owner.
Collect synchronized LiDAR geometry and RGB context.
Separate loose material zones from visible countable inventory.
Calculate volume or count distinct visible units using the validated site method.
Track change and compare physical observations with recorded inventory.
Export a reviewable record with scan context and methodology.
04 / APPLICATIONS
SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS
TerraMetric does not publish a fixed accuracy percentage before representative field validation. Volume is measured within an agreed operating envelope; tonnage remains a density-based estimate unless independently weighed. Unit counting requires sufficient visibility, object separation and validated camera coverage.
